Brainwashed allies are still counted as allies because they can still be cured from the state (in this case, KOing them and reviving them). This means that abilities that affect all allies (Curaga for example) will still affect brainwashed targets and all abilities that affect enemies (Quake for example) will not hit brainwashed targets. Only Heroes or Heroines that become Converted or Enslaved are treated as enemies to Heroes and Heroines on the board, because there is no returning from them states.

So, they're not counted as enemies because we can KO them and restore them, but, since we're heavily skewed toward magic users, we'll have hard time KO'ing them because they aren't counted as enemies and our more useful spells (in these circumstances) can't target them? That's damned inconvenient... Neutral

Anyone can target anyone, for any ability regardless of if their an ally or enemy, multi-target skills are the same in principle its just any ability that affects multi-targets can either be used on all allies, or all enemies, for example if you was feeling suicidal you could begin using Meteor on all allies. I do see your point though, we need a step in-between Fire and Firaga for example, so i will add some 2-turn cast 30% spells to Black and White Magic that target 1 person.

Kestrel cannot move if she wants to Quick Salior Mercury and Kestrel is currently 1 square out of range, so she cannot Quick this turn (on Salior Mercury)

just going to say this, this fight sucks, when ever you start to use an attack she just puts everyone to sleep, thus preventing any magic spell worth anything being cast

I suppose we'll just have to use quick spells then to take out the guys. The battle's pretty much over when they're all dead.

Kestrel can give you an opening for a 2-turn spell between turns 2-4, 13-15, and 20-12 (for Patchouli only), if we're awake at the time. I tried it last turn, but was out of range, it turns out...

If someone can get Alexander away from Neko too he can still do some serious damage with 1 Lucky Star on him, or even Quick his turn to someone else. I have lowered Nekos health by 200 just because with 2 Heroes she can now full cleanse and heal for 175 HP each turn. Patchouli still has Curse as well and Neko is susceptible to most negative conditions, plus noone has tried to re-steal from Neko, so she can still move large distances.
